Perfect For...
Perfect for fans of The Impossible Game, Geometry Dash, and rage-inducing platformers who enjoy learning from every failure and outsmarting unpredictable level design.
Why You'll Love It
Think you can trust the floor beneath your feet? Level Devil turns a simple platforming goal—reach the door—into a hilarious, nerve-racking test of caution and memory. Hidden spikes, vanishing platforms, moving walls, reversed controls, and fake-safe routes are designed to punish autopilot play and reward careful experimentation.
Its minimalist 2D presentation keeps your attention on the action while every sudden trap creates a memorable "I should have seen that coming" moment. With more than 200 stages across increasingly difficult worlds, themed doors, secret keys, and an optional local two-player mode, Level Devil delivers a steady stream of surprises for solo players and friends alike.
How to Play
1. Move Carefully
2. Jump Over Hazards
3. Test the Level
4. Reach the Door
Pro-Tips from the Woodpecker
Use the "Probe Step" Technique
Never sprint onto a platform that looks too convenient. Tap forward with a short movement, then immediately prepare to jump. This controlled probe reveals disappearing floors and triggered spikes while preserving your position for a quick recovery.
Treat Reversals as a Reset Check
When the controls flip, stop trying to correct your movement through muscle memory. Release the direction key, tap left and right once to identify the new mapping, and only then commit to the next jump. In two-player mode, watch your opponent's movement to identify the reversal before making your own move.
